Erin Kaplan and Olivia Palermo are in the heat of battle in an epically passive-aggressive duel to the death on the MTV hit “The City”. Whitney Port, the fashion designer for Whitney Eve, stars in the show with just the right amount of fashion, parties, and Kelly Cutrone.
In season 3, I’ve noticed Whitney standing up for herself more, being more direct and stern, and more decisive. She still seems a bit naïve though as she gives Roxy a little too much reign in her fashion line, against Kelly’s advice.
If you still aren’t convinced of why you should watch the show, because maybe quirky, cunning, one-liners from Kelly Cutrone, or fabulous fashion and parties aren’t your cup of tea. But the constant head-butting from Erin and Olivia is just pure hilarity. You will love to hate Olivia and be #teamerin all day long. From Olivia’s snobby attitude and smart-mouth remarks to Erin’s facial expressions, there is something for everyone. “The City” airs on Tuesdays @ 10:30pm.
