SHANE ELI "GREY AREA" MUSIC VIDEO

I've been meaning to post this for awhile now...my apologies. Better late than never right lol? I'm very proud to boast that I invested in this music video...haha. No I really did...not much but I'm sure every penny counts so without further ado STUNNAFIZZ presents Shane Eli's "Grey Area":

Soooo...what yall think? I loved the video very cinematic...good message and he has a heck of story. I'm sure many people can relate to this song-white, black, and/or mixed. I relate and I'm a black girl. I grew up in a virtually all white city and when I moved to Chattanooga, TN everybody called me a "black white girl" or a "valley girl" blah blah blah cuz the way I talked lol. "Wondering my whole life how I talk like a color". All I gotta say is Thank U Shane for this song...and this album 'The Push'. If you aint got it go cop it ASAP!!

I RUN L.A.

AT LEAST I TRIED...

So ya'll know how I've been obsessed with getting my black behind to L.A. for months!! And finally I DID IT!! YAY ME!! We left on Nov. 19th...we were pretty tired when we landed so we kinda stay low-key. We stayed at the Hilton in Universal City. We went to the City Walk and checked out that scene, it was really nice. Then the next morning we had brunch at ROSCOE'S CHICKEN AND WAFFLES. Wow! That place was amazing fa'sho. I ordered grits, eggs, waffle, and chicken breast! Lawd knows it was good. Then we headed to Glendale Galleria because we of course had to get some shopping in. After that we went to Universal Studios. That was amazing, taking a tour to see where they film our favorite movies and tv shows, i.e. Desperate Housewives and War of the Worlds. On the tour we went through the King Kong 3D Experience. AWESOME *high pitched kids voice*. We went through a simulated earthquake and much more. I was super geeked when we took a stroll on Wysteria Lane!! We saw some shows and rode some rides, then headed to the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch.

We then went to J.Cole concert. I was so excited to see J.Cole and perform and just as excited to see my homeboy Shane Eli perform as well. He was opening the concert. Well we underestimated L.A. traffic and got to the Key Club late...which was such a mistake because the line was wrapped around the building and across the street! We waited an hour or more so I knew I missed Shane. I was pissed! Finally got in and there was drama at the box office. But yall know Stunna and I was not about to be waiting in the cold for all that time just to go back to our car and leave. So I worked my magic and I was in there like swimwear lol. The venue was beyond packed. Surprised fire marshall didn't shut it down. J.Cole was dope of course enough said! Saw Shane later on and he was such a sweetheart! Afterwards we was hotel bound cuz we had a long day ahead of us.

Next morning we were up and at em and on our way on our grand bus tour of l.a. It was fun, except for our tea party tour guide and the racist german lady who kept lookin at us like we was fresh out the zoo! dumb bish! she honestly stared at us the entire 6 1/2 hours like we had just descended from outer space. At one point I just laughed in her face because she was so over the top. Anywho...I loved the tour...seeing the HOLLYWOOD sign and hitting up Louis Vuitton in Beverly Hills.

We had lunch at the Farmer's Market and I smashed some Brazilian bbq...never had meat so succulent lol.

Once the tour was over we tried to decide what we were going to get into next...our flight left that night at midnight, so we had a lil bit of time. I wanted to go to the red carpet of the AMA's and the other option was going to the lakers' game. Between trying to figure out transportation and what time we needed to leave to get to the airport early blah blah blah so we just decided to shop for souvenirs and hang out at the Citywalk until it was time to go. All and all I had a blast. BEST WEEKEND OF MY LIFE! If I could move there I would...maybe I will. Will be back this summer however!

PEACE UP A-TOWN DOWN

I took a short weekend trip to Atlanta, GA first weekend of November. And I do mean short. We tried to cram as much fun into a day and half as we could. I've been to Atlanta a million times and have never had as much fun as I did this weekend...probably because we don't do too much when we are there I suppose. We went to the Georgia Aquarium which is quite ironic. Anyone who knows me knows I'm extremely afraid of fish. I had mad anxiety when we first arrived, but after getting used to it I really enjoyed myself. I recommend that everyone visits here if ever in town.

Later that evening we went to Circue du Solei: "OVO". This was so amazing. High-flying acrobats and a hilarious storyline made for an entertaining show. It was a bit strange that we were just about the only blacks there...but whatever. I guess all the black people were at UniverSOUL circus lol. Anyways funtimes...will be back next month to tear ATL down for New Year's Eve! BEWARE~

I AINT GONNA LIE...I MET 50 TYSON

50 Tyson himself was at Ball State on November 13th. I was a bit surprised to see his posse was so large...well get it then 50. 50 Tyson arrived and hung out in the back for a little while, then he approached the stage. He was mic in hand and looked as if he was about to speak or perform until there was some feedback from the speakers. Ok so that was a bit awkward, and it didn't help that 50 just kinda stood around looking puzzled. One onlooker even yelled "say something man!" At this point people just used this opportunity to take lots of pix. 50 Tyson finally did a lil performance, and surprisingly did very well compared to his youtube videos (which have made him famous). I guess he has been practicing.
